I love Houston. As a community volunteer and a parent with a background in education, I know how critical it is to have a government that listens to you. That's what I aim to provide. Your voice must be heard.

I am driven by my faith and a passion for seeing that your life and property are respected, that every child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for college, career, and life as a productive citizen in a rapidly shifting job market, and that small businesses in HD138 can thrive with less government red tape.

I have served HD138 for 25+ years as an elected school board trustee, school teacher, principal and assistant superintendent, and on local community boards. I understand our education system, our community, and the impact of state politics. I know the strengths and the weaknesses. I have a proven record of passing policy to improve academics, remove indoctrination in our classrooms, reduce spending, and not raise your taxes. I know what needs to be done.

It's important to work with my colleagues in the legislature, but it's more important to fight for the values you hold. Your family and your wallet
must be protected. I won't compromise on what matters. As a proven leader, when elected, I'll listen to you and fight for what's important.
